Introduction

Welcome to the crazy, magical mess that is my life! My name is Kit Chester, I’m an actress/hairstylist from Los Angeles, CA. I started this blog for a lot of different reasons; one being I love to write and I wanted more of a creative outlet.  I’ve dabbled in blogging since I was a teenager everything from fashion blogs to moody angsty teenage posts. Most of which are pretty cringe worthy and thankfully for me they’re on the Internet forever!

Before we get started I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Boston and moved around my whole life, even living overseas for a while, but when I was fifteen my father’s job brought us to Pittsburgh, PA and I fell madly, truly and deeply in love with the city and it’s people…and of course it’s sports.

I finished out my high school years there where I was able to work on a lot of projects but unfortunately once I graduated it was time to make the big (and very scary) leap to Los Angeles, CA to further my career. I was absolutely heart broken but I knew I had to do it. I’ve been acting since I was 14 and although very lucky to get gigs around the country nothing compares to what you get out here in LALA land.

Although I’m no longer in Pittsburgh, it will always be in my heart. I bleed black and gold. I have done so much growing in LA though. In just the past five years I’ve made friends who are now family to me, traveled more and even discovered a new passion: Hair styling. And now I’m ready to start my next venture: blogging.

For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to write about. I was so focused on ‘what will

people want to read’ aspect and forgot that blogging is more about having fun! So this blog will have everything that’s important in my life, from my many adventures with my friends, my awesomely crazy family, my career and also superficial things like fashion.

In this blog I also want to talk about my transition out to LA and my life here for anyone who might be thinking of making the move or those of you who are nosy (you know who you are).
